Vic: Armed suspects cornered by police in Kerang schoolyard

Police have cornered two armed suspects in a northern Victorian schoolyard.

A police spokesman says about eight officers have the suspects holed up in the Kerang
schoolyard and shots are being fired at police.

The spokesman says earlier two people from a house in Inglewood were bound and gagged
by the suspects.

They say their car was stolen as the wanted men tried to get away from pursing police.
