NSW: Six candidates line up for Knight s seat today

The contest for former Olympic Minister MICHAEL KNIGHT's old seat is on today, with
six candidates in the running.

But it's almost certain the seat of Campbelltown will go to former KNIGHT staffer GRAHAM WEST.

The 27-year-old Labor candidate won a pre-selection ballot last October, and has been
campaigning in the electorate ever since.

He's the only one of the six candidates who lives in the electorate - a fact that has
angered some locals, who believe the by-election is not being properly contested.
