QLD:Another gold Coast bus driver assaulted

Police say another bus driver has been attacked on the Gold Coast, the latest in a
spate of attacks that have resulted in police and private security guards riding the city's
buses.

In the latest incident a 30-year-old driver was punched in the face at Surfers Paradise,
possibly over a fare dispute.

Police say a man of Pacific Islander appearance aged between 15 and 20 assaulted the
driver before jumping off the bus at a stop on Surfers Paradise Boulevard around 1pm (AEST)
yesterday.
