Vic: Mental health body issues injunction against broadcast

MELBOURNE, Aug 10 AAP - A TV program on the suicide deaths of four students at a Geelong
school has been withdrawn from screening at the 11th hour following an injunction against
its broadcast by beyondblue, the mental health organisation.

The Nine Network's 60 Minutes was scheduled to show a segment titled "Searching for
Answers" on Sunday but received notice of the injunction shortly before going to air.

A spokeswoman for beyondblue said it would not comment on the matter until after a
hearing in the Victorian Supreme Court on Wednesday.

Sunday's injunction only applied to Victoria, but the segment also was not shown in
any other state or territory.

Nine is expected to issue a brief statement on Monday.
